Progress on Squares
My sock yarn stash mitred square blanket is difficult to photo as it is the width of a double bed, but I tried to capture the idea. The squares are not knit separately but each is knit individually before the next can be started.
Pretty, pretty, pretty!!!! Mitered knitting is one of my favs and I luv the idea for using my leftovers. I'm going to suggest this for our next Sock Club meeting!
I got the pattern/idea from a blog. She has a great tutorial (links in her sidebar) which talk you through the process. www.shellykang.com This is going to be long-term project for me as I am hoping to make it to fit a double bed.

This is exactly what I want to do with my leftover sock yarn. How do you connect the squares as you are knitting? It looks terrific!

Wow, you've gotten a lot done already! It looks great. How many squares have you finished so far? I will add it to our totals.
I love it! It's so pretty now, I can't wait to see the final product!
